RICARDO STERNBERG was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and has lived in Toronto since 1979. He has published poetry in magazines such as Descant, The Walrus, the Nation, Paris Review, Poetry (Chicago) and American Poetry Review. He has published four books of poems: The Invention of Honey (1990, republished 1996, 2006) and Map of Dreams (1996) both with Signal Editions of Véhicule Press and Bamboo Church (2003, republished 2006) and Some Dance (2014) with McGill-Queen’s University Press.
