AMANDA JERNIGAN was born in southern Ontario. As an adult she has lived in Ontario, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland. She is the author of two books of poetry, Groundwork and All the Daylight Hours; of the prose book Living in the Orchard: The Poetry of Peter Sanger; and of the libretto for Years, Months, and Days, by Colin Labadie. She edited The Essential Richard Outram and co-edited Earth and Heaven: An Anthology of Myth Poetry.
